Almost Graceland by Steve Carlson

On January 8, 1935, Gladys Presley gave birth to twin boys. One is named Elvis. Records indicate the other child was stillborn. In April of 1977, Ray Johnson, a Memphis lumberyard worker with a strong resemblance to Elvis, learns he is adopted. Identical birthdays, a common birthplace and other coincidences convince Ray he is Elvis’s twin brother. Facts of Elvis’s life are carefully woven into the story and provide enough “what ifs’ to catch the fancy of Elvis fans.
