DARKBORN by Alison Sinclair

For the Darkborn, sunlight kills. For the Lightborn, darkness is fatal. Living under a centuries-old curse, the Darkborn and the Lightborn share the city of Minhorne, coexisting in an uneasy equilibrium but never interacting until a Darkborn physician helps a pregnant fugitive and finds himself drawn into political intrigues and magical attacks.

Great fantasy realm. Adventure is quick paced and unexpected.

I really liked this book a lot. I liked the sequel, Lightborn even more than Darkborn and I am anxiously waiting for Shadowborn to come out it June. I was very happy to find a copy of this at my branch's book sale.
This is a very good fantasy book. I love the whole idea of the lightborn and darkborn people. A+
