My FAVORITE read of the year!! This is an exciting adventure, I felt like I was exploring the historical underworld.. Teresa Wharton
Don't you just love a good archaelogical mystery? If so, you'll enjoy The Last Ember. Well researched, great characters, and edge of your seat action.
This one was definitely a page turner and I loved the characters.
Are they making The Last Ember into a movie?
Holy cow, I thought this book was terrible. My review is here
This book had a lot of good information, but it wasn't oten well integrated into the plot. Dialog was stiff and read more like a textbook than a novel. The book came across as an excuse to talk about archaeology instead of the the historical references enhancing the book.
There were some good idias, but it wasn't the kind of quality I have come to expect from Reader's Choice.
Thought he needed an editor.
