Similar feel as Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Strong female character with lots gumption.
This book was intense. I read for 4 hours straight till I was finished. This is one that will stick with you for a while after you close the cover.
I did not like the use of the F word & using the Lord's name in vain.
Loved it!! People need to know and remember what can happen to entire nations.
I had a hard time with this one. I've posted some thoughts on my book blog.
