An excellent look into the life in the merchant marines, the risks involved with global travel and what it took for one man to find the strength to find the hero within. Great reading! Lloyd L.

This is a great story of keeping your wits about you for as long as it takes, and inspiring the best in others, by allowing them to be fallible. Captain Phillips, through his genuine interaction with his crew, encouraged honesty and gave his best efforts at sea. Great story. Heroic rescue.
