DOC by Mary Doria Russell

Fact and mythmaking converge as John Henry Holliday (Doc) comes alive in Dodge City. Readers can almost smell the sawdust and hear the tinkling of saloon pianos. A historical novel filled with action, humor and philosophy.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a wonderful story told from Doc Holidays view. It was one of the best reader choice books I have ever read!

Well written and researched. Surprised that it ended before the famous 'OK' event.
