I really enjoyed this book. Part teenage romance and drama, part growing up as a Russian immigrant. It is heartfelt and totally believable.

Coming from a Russian Jewish background, I expected a bit more from the story. The start was a bit slow, but it finally grabbed me. Unfortunately, there are some very explicit sexual descriptions that I could have done without along with excessive use of the "f" word, which was not necessary to the story. If you feel that you can deal with that, it's a good read.
